August 28, 2015 (Denver, CO) – Elite Brands of Colorado and FATE Brewing Company are proud to announce a partnership to begin statewide distribution of FATE’s award-winning line up of beers in Colorado.

FATE Brewing Company is the brainchild of Owner and Founder, Mike Lawinski. After working in the restaurant industry for 10 years, Mike went on to fulfill his own dream of opening a restaurant and brewery. Since opening in February of 2013, FATE has built a solid footprint around the state and gone on to win many awards including a Gold Medal in the German Style Kölsch category at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival for their Laimas Kölsch Style Ale.

“Like a wedding or an engagement we wanted to share this amazing day in FATE’s history with everyone”, said Mike. “We are so proud and excited to see what the great state of Colorado holds in the future for our business working in collaboration with Elite Brands. Elite Brands sets the bar when it comes to distribution and customer service and we are proud to be part of their portfolio. We are so thankful to Terry and her team for bringing us on board. It’s going to be a great partnership.”

Elite Brands will launch FATE Brewing Company at the beginning of September and will initially be rolling out with Laimas Kölsch Style Ale, Moirai India Pale Ale and Uror Gose, along with a selection of other core and specialty brands.

“This partnership with Mike and Fate Brewing Company has been a long time in the making and we’re thrilled to see it come to fruition”, said Terry Cekola, owner of Elite Brands. “Mike and Head Brewer, Jeff Griffith, bring an outstanding reputation and years of experience with them. We’re excited to begin this partnership and share the FATE story with our customers around the state of Colorado.”
